On December 4, Alan M. Anderson attended and participated in a hearing (as well as earlier drafting of supporting memoranda) for an appeal held at the European Patent Office in The Hague, The Netherlands, on an invalidation proceeding commenced by a competitor against one of Alan Anderson Law Firm’s clients based in Germany. Arnt Aalbers of DeVries & Metman, based in Amsterdam, led the oral argument. At the close of the English-language hearing, the EPO hearing panel rejected the competitor’s petition in its entirety.
