In April 2011, Alan Anderson was admitted as a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the world’s leading professional
body for promoting the settlement of disputes by arbitration and
other private dispute resolution means. He is the first
attorney elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute from Minnesota.
Nearly 100 years old, the Chartered Institute has over 12,000
members world-wide. Fellowship reflects the highest achievable
academic standard and is limited to those individuals who can
demonstrate an advanced, comprehensive knowledge and understanding
of the principles, law and practices involved in dispute resolution.
Minnesota State Bar
Association Certified Civil Trial Specialist.
Since 1994, Alan Anderson has been a
Civil Trial Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar
Association. The certified
specialist designation is earned by leading attorneys who have completed
a rigorous approval process, including an examination in the specialty
area, peer review, and documented experience. Certified attorneys have
demonstrated superior knowledge, skill and integrity in their specific
field. This achievement has
been earned by fewer than 3% of all licensed Minnesota attorneys.
National Board of Trial
Advocacy Certified Civil Trial Advocate.
Since 2001, Alan Anderson has been
certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial
Advocacy. The National Board
of Trial Advocacy is part of the National Board of Legal Specialty
Certification, an American Bar Association accredited organization for
providing board certification for lawyers.
Board Certification
is a rigorous testing and approval process that officially recognizes
the extensive education and courtroom experience of the lawyer.
Fewer than 2500 lawyers nationwide are certified as Civil Trial
Advocates.

of America.
In 2007, Alan was elected a Fellow
of the Litigation Counsel of America.
The Litigation Counsel of AmericaTM
is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to
reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500
Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American
lawyers.

Leading American Attorney.
Since 1999, Alan has been recognized
as a Leading American Attorney in the areas of commercial litigation and
intellectual property and computer law.
Fewer than six percent of Minnesota attorneys are Leading

Anderson wins major case.
Oct. 2010 - A jury in Clay County District Court in Arkansas today
returned a complete defense verdict following six weeks of trial. Alan
Anderson was lead trial counsel for two Minneapolis - based companies
who were the defendants.
Anderson named Best Lawyers.
Sept. 2010 - Alan Anderson has again been named to Best Lawyers in
America in the area of Intellectual Property Law.
